Artesia- Multi-Family

As Project Architect for Ultra Unit Architectural Studio, we were looking to add units to an existing 15 Unit apartment complex. This was once a very difficult task but thanks to the state-wide ADU bill Multi-Family ADU has become a way that we can help our clients get the most out of their property. Staying true to the existing Architecture of the complex was one of the goals of the project. Multi Family ADUs can be developed on lots where there are already 3 or more dwelling units. We are allowed to build two new detached or attached units at a minimum but can build up to 25% of the existing number of dwelling units assuming there is enough space.
